MSW Supervisee in Social Work

Welcome! Life is an intricate dance of pain and joy. Too often it can seem as if pain is leading the dance, grief, sorrow, fear, anger, hurt, and more. To get by, we adapt and protect these vulnerable parts of ourselves. Sometimes these protectors also block our joy or disconnect us from ourselves and others. I would be honored to go on a restorative journey with you. We will work together to understand your story with compassion and curiosity, bring healing to the body and mind, and move toward more authentic and wholehearted living.

My Background:

I graduated in 2024 with a Master of Social Work from Boston University, and I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a dual major in Studio Art. I have work experience providing life coaching services, supporting clean water initiatives in Uganda, teaching dramatic arts to children, and engaging in various levels of organizational support in the nonprofit sector. My social work internships included case management for individuals experiencing homelessness and providing psychotherapy services. I am also a wife and mom to two teenagers, so I understand the challenges of balancing family, work, and self care.

My Approach:

I believe all people deserve dignity, compassion, safety, and belonging. I use a trauma informed and humanistic approach to engage the body, mind, and spirit in the therapeutic process. I will work collaboratively with you and incorporate your strengths, values, beliefs, and comfort level into our sessions. The primary approaches I utilize in therapy include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness practices, polyvagal informed approaches, and compassion based therapies. I am also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) to aid in trauma recovery and the treatment of various mental health concerns.

Take the First Step Toward Healing

You don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. Support, clarity, and growth are within reach.
