Nikki Swoope is a current New York University Graduate student in the Mental Health and Wellness Counseling program. She recently joined Chesapeake Counseling Center as an interning therapist hoping to specialize in clients with anxiety, the LGBTQIA+ population, as well as couples therapy. She approaches therapy from an existentialist and humanistic viewpoint centering empathy and the building of self-esteem in her treatment.
